DEMONSTRATION RESTAURANT, MERROW HOTEL & SPA COMPLEX, CAUSEWAY COAST
This is a scheme for a new build Demonstration Restaurant perched into the hillside as part of the Merrow Hotel & Spa complex designed by Wilson McMullen Architects. The design of the building is to hug and embed itself into the landscape allowing a natural green roof to flow over it from the landscape beyond. It incorporates space for commercial cooking to be taught, demonstrated and enjoyed within the tranquil coastal setting of Portstewart.
The project received plamnning permission in 2017 and is due to start on-site in 2018.
