Profile

Ben Wilson - Senior Architect

I studied in Edinburgh College of Art graduating in 2002 with a Masters in Architecture and Urban Design.

I worked previously for GM Design Associates in Coleraine, Northern Ireland, then for 4 years at Award winning practice
Richard Murphy Architects in Edinburgh (Scottish Architect of the Year).

During my time at Richard Murphy Architects I worked on many projects varying in scale from one-off houses to large commercial developments. Most notably I worked as project architect on the Award winning housing at Dean Bank Lane in Edinburgh, Award winning housing at Moore Street, Glasgow, and was project architect on the New Computer Library and Lecture theatre for the University of East London, before my return home to Northern Ireland in 2007.

In 2007 I set up Wilson McMullen Architects based in Portrush, County Antrim, with the aim to produce high quality architecture and design that is both of its time and its place. I hope that my friendly and enthusiastic approach helps establish a close working relationship with my clients and aids them in realising a final building which surpasses their original expectations.

Wilson McMullen Architects are currently involved in a wide range of projects from the design of private houses and extensions to office design and fit-outs.

If we can help you with a project, large or small, please dont hesitate to contact us.
